Cabin Fever
New to the Lakes this summer season, our activity cabin is a welcome addition to the adventure camps and year-round kids’ clubs’ activities we offer. ‘if I had an ethos, it would be giving children the opportunity to be outside and connect with nature – and how important it is that they do that. At the Lakes, our starting point always comes from nature and its benefits to children’s, along with how good the adventurous are activities are for them’. The cabin provides a base for adventure camp and it’s great to have the option of warming up on a cold winter day after exploring in the woods with a warming cup of hot chocolate.
One of our best decisions
It took Mark just 20 minutes to decide to buy a cabin at the Lakes by YOO. Impulsive? Not for Mark who has spent 40 years making carefully considered investment decisions. Far from regretting it he has subsequently snapped up one of the Manor Farm Barns developments to make his permanent home. ‘it’s one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. When friends who’ve never been there before walk in and they look out at the lake, you just see the jaws drop – they say ‘Wow, where did this place come from?’”
