Job Overview
At The Lakes by Yoo, a private 850 acre estate of lakes, woodland and meadows in the Cotswolds, we are seeking an experienced Estate Farm Hand & Gardener to support the care, maintenance and development of our stunning grounds and farmland. This varied, hands-on role combines agricultural and horticultural responsibilities, from planting, pruning and seasonal vegetable cultivation to assisting with livestock care, fencing and estate upkeep.
Working closely with the Estate Landscaping Manager, you’ll ensure our landscapes remain productive, safe and beautifully maintained throughout the year. The ideal candidate will have experience in estate work, gardening, landscaping or farming, with practical knowledge of plants, soils and machinery, alongside a strong work ethic, attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards. Flexibility, reliability and a genuine passion for the outdoors are essential, as is a valid driving licence.
As part of our vibrant community, you may also assist with estate events, guided tours and occasional filming to showcase the farm’s role in our social media and resident experience. This is a full time role, five days a week including weekends, offering the opportunity to work within one of the UK’s most beautiful private estates.
